What's the difference in Makita BDF452H and Makita BDF452HW?

The answer is there are NO DIFFERENCE, because model BDF452H does not exist, this just misspelling. You can check official page of Makita BDF452HW

I still think that this is same product, because I didn't find BDF452HW model on this site. They have only BDF452H. May be, they don't want to sell two products simultaneously? I don't think so. Do you know where to find email of Makita customer service? I can't find it, I still want to clarify question about this models.

It's quite possible that the only difference is the colour / housing:

    http://www.makita.ca/data/upload/tools/BDF452,%20BDF452H,%20BDF452HW_parts_English.pdf

(You'll note that all THREE BDF452 models are listed)

Are there PERFORMANCE differences between the models? Not sure..though I have read some reviews of the 452HW referring the a "professional" (blue) version with more torque (452? 452H?)

One thing I do know that here in Canada, both models are available (452H @ Rona, 452HW @ Home Depot).

As for Makita customer service...sorry, if its not listed on the website, I don't know.
